Cuban Experience Tours is an independent, locally-owned, locally-managed company whose founders have over 12 years of tour experience in Cuba and in Europe. We have a great track record for providing quality authentic experiences in our beautiful country. As far as we’re aware, we are the only independent Cuban-owned company operating tours in Cuba; all of the others are either government-owned or managed from somewhere else in the world. By travelling with Cuban Experience, you are contributing directly to the local economy and to the improved well-being of local people. We are proud to be helping our fellow Cubans to fully benefit from their hard work, and we’re so excited that we can finally share our skills and knowledge with you directly.

What do we do?
Primarily, we offer fully guided small-group tours. These tours take you through the real Cuba. We take you away from the typical tourist beach resorts, and take you into the towns and cities and heart of Cuba, where real people live out their lives. Not only will you see the famous destinations, but you will also discover places off the beaten path – places that only our company visits, and that few outsiders know about. We want to show you the places that we like best! And don’t worry – there’s a lot of free time on our tours, too, so that you have the flexibility to do what you want without always having to follow the pack. We can show you the Cuban way of dancing; we can show you undiscovered places for diving; we can show you where the locals like to spend their time; and in each case, you’ll have a local expert right there with you to show you how it’s really done here in Cuba.

However, if group tours are not your thing and you’d rather go it alone, but with the support of local know-how behind you to help avoid unexpected hassle, we can help you book your accommodation, airport transfers, intercity transport and even a guide for a day. You can create your own itinerary on your own terms, and we will book things for you here in Cuba. Booking these things can often be difficult to do from outside Cuba, as many of the local providers do not have sufficient access to the internet. Through our secure website, you can select and pay for the items you want and we will make sure that it is properly organised for you on this end.

In all instances, we try to use locally-sourced materials, and we employ locals for your tour – everyone from your tour leaders to the hosts at your accommodation.
